Question: Twilighters, this is for you!.!?

i'm curious!. cause i'm hearing a lot of people say that hp has competition!.!.!.!.the twilight saga!. in my opinion, thats bull!. hp is infinitely superior!.
i love the books, but after hearing what other people have to say, i'm slowly forming other opinions!.
i've never cared for bella!. she's annoying, clingy, needy, and shes not an example for young girls out there!.

face it!. if it weren't for edward, twilight wouldn't be nearly as popular!. a lot of twilighters, i think, are only twilighters because one of the mains is hot!. but hey, that's just me!.

They compare it to Harry Potter because of the rate that the Twilight Saga is selling at!. Breaking Dawn is supposed to be as anticipated as The Deathly Hallows!.
The librarian at my school read Twilight but she couldn't finish it because she shared your opinions - she said that Bella was too dependent and she wasn't a very strong woman!. While that is true, I think we're all dependent on something!. I think Bella's dependency on Edward is because she loves him so much and it's such a strong bond that, without him, she's not exactly sure what to do with herself!. I think eventually she would have gotten better, like everyone does when they get out of a spectacular relationship!. You can say that it doesn't take several months to recooperate, but you also have to include the fact that Jacob was really helping out and she was better until he left her, which just screwed her up further!. In the end, though, we didn't have to see her get over Edward, simply because he came back!. And again, you can say that she's weak for giving him a second chance!. Well, how many people in the world have given someone a second chance and it works out!? You never know what you have until you lose it, they say!.
Meanwhile, I'm not sure why it's so popular!. I don't think it's because of the "hotness" of the protagonists, but rather the shear love relationship, mixed with the danger factor and the uniqueness of the book!.
That's just my opinion on the whole thing and I do have to agree that there's a ton of ridiculous fangirls out there that annoy the crap of me and take it too far, but I don't think that liking Twilight makes you stupid, makes you have a bad choice in books, because it's just!.!.!. an indulgance!. Everyone wants love and to be loved, they say, and seeing Edward and Bella's relationship - even if it is fictitious - is a nice thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's very safe to say that New moon was dull, verging on pitiful with Bella's wailing and lamenting through out 70% of the book!.

But, I think Bella is special!. She can smell blood!. She is not affected by vampire's powers!. So there is something here!. I wish Stephanie was a little bit more creative like JK!. Rowling with her work!.

i loooove twilight and yes bella can get annoying but if u had someone like edward wouldnt u feel the same way!. the one thing that i dont get is that bella is nothing special and just normal and attracts really hot mystical creatures haha i wish life was like that and that why i like twilightWww@QuestionHome@Com

TBH- I didnt enjoy new moon mostly because edward wasnt in it!.

I agree with you!. I also agree with Manga Freakxx!. I find Bella very annoying!. Yet, I do not read the book because of Edward!. I love hp books and I love the twilight books!. Whenever I read the hp series I find myself depressed!. Then I read the Twilight series and I find myself happy and hopeful!. Twilight is my antidote for Harry Potter aftershocks!. When I read hp I get really sad because the books point out all of the ways the people in books are sooo much better and are prettier and more smart than regular people and more importantly, me!. I am an avid reader and I have always loved to read books!. Yet I have always had the problem that I always love the books sooo much more than I love my life, that I have always wished to be in the books and have their lives be mine!. I am not suicidal, don't worry!. My life just hasn't turned out to be magical or as unique as theirs!. It isn't over yet though, so I stilll have time for something great to happen or turn up!. I have biiiiiig dreams and Harry Potter always reminds me of just how big they are, and how out of reach they are!. Twilight is relatable because Bella is the most relatable main character I've ever met/seen/read of!. When I read Twilight I can relate to Bella's annoyingly repetitious sense of inferiority!.

I like both series' equally!. Some things I like better in one series and others in the other series!. I find J!.K!. Rowlings determination to create a plot and good book by killing off at least one or two important characters each book predictable, boring, and unecessary!. Stephenie Meyer is very good at creating good books without killing off an important character every book!. I absolutely love the way Rowling weaves characters that seem to breathe and laugh and cry right along with you!. Meyer's characters are full of flaws and inconsistencies!. Though it can, will be, and has been argued that her character's flaws make the book better, more relatable, and easier to read!. I agree with that and yet I also disagree!. The inconsistency of her characters is annoying!. I find it hard to read the books because of those flaws and inconsistencies!. Whenever I reread the books I skip New Moon because I hate that book!. I only read the last chapter and skip pages when I am because I am sooo sick of listening to Bella whine on and on!.

I don't think that the books should be compared!. They are sooo different!. They are loved differently and by different people!. The two women are completely different!. Rowling has an aura of mystique that surrounds her!. Almost as if you mustn't touch her for she might break and then we will see something else, something different!. Meyer is sooo normal, she isn't what you would see on TV or in fictious book!. She's like something that you would see in your house baking a cake!. Yet, both women live in a different world than we do!. I will give them that similarity!.

I hope that this rant helps!. I have a feeling that as I am writing this it will turn out to be very long and laborious to read!. I will add more as I think of more things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
