Love is powerful in the right context with the right person!. Hate is also powerful as people use this to manipulate people into doing what they want!. But even deeper Hate has the power to eat the mind, heart and soul out of people who let it corrupt their lives!. I think it is ok to understand what hate is, and what it does to a person, because only then can you understand and know how wonderful it is to LOVE!.
