Question: What would be ONE WORD that describes human beings in your opinion!?
To me 99!.9% of humans are SELFISH!.!.!.including me at times!. You are VERY special if you aren't :) What describes humans in you mind!?
Just curious if other people have the same thought as me!.
If you think we are not selfish please tell me why!? xP
I think we are because we do not think of ANYTHING before ourselves!.!.!.animals and people included!. I try my best to think of other things before myself, but sasitiy makes if difficuly!. (anything we love eventually loops back to hurting someone or something)Www@QuestionHome@Com

We all have the tendency to focus on self, but I think the vast majority of us, at some point recognize the error of our ways, and change it up!. I have been privy to many situations where focus on other , especially in times of crisis, has been apparent, and indeed awe inspiring!.
To me, other-centeredness is the answer to pretty much all of our woes!. When we get the focus off ourselves--we are ultimately free--and distracted, at best --which is best for release of our own problems and also for meeting the needs of others!.
I believe, then, to answer your question, that the One word to describe humans is IMPERFECT!.
We are imperfect, so that we can grow, which is what we are here to ultimately do--to fulfill a destiny we signed up for, which is a "little by little, one step at a time" progression!.
100% of us are selfish at one time or another, but it is because we are imperfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That will sum up the human race!. All other adjectives , selfishness included, stem from this one single bad trait!.!. There are enough things around to constantly remind the humans about gratefulness!. The dog , the plants , the cyclical nature !.!.!.!. everthing around us!. yet , man takes everything for granted and owns up everything as his!.
Great souls , from the earlier times, have all stressed upon this one factor and that could have changed the life of the people on earth!. Yet , gratitude is a forgotten word and is considered a weak signal! What a pity!.
One of the reasons that religions are still thriving is this gratitude thing!. While man does want to be grateful at all he/she has a small feeling of gratitude towards an invisible force called God and that the religious leaders are exploiting to the hilt!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Many you you guys have used words which are insulting to the human race!. Like the all the hopes have died for the world to becomes a better place to live!.
But few have used the words i liked (Survivalists, Vulnerable, Complex) which actually do define the human character in a way!.No is born a loser or a bad human being!. Its the society which changes you!.
I'd use the word 'BIFURCATED' which is pretty much near to the human character in my way!.

but mine which is similar but slightly different would be "near sighted"!.
less the fault of humans and more one of their flaws!. selfish i thinks makes humans out to be more evil typed thing whereas i find they are not really so, but sometimes strangely justify things wrongly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Love always loops to hurt!. That is why you enjoy the good days you have with your family,pets,whatever!. The one thing we are blessed with is the memory of those we've loved and lost!. Anyone could have a selfish day, but I have more faith in people than that!. Well after reading the 31 previous answers, I would say either "pessimistic" or "grouchy!." I recommend people eat more fiber in their diets!.
