We're the only known species with the mental capacity to realize how much life sucks and how insignificant we really are!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In life we all make decisions, travel down different paths, all of which can, simply by cause and effect, lead to a conclusion that may not be ideal!. Life is after all pretty much a game of chance!. Nobody in this life is perfect, so only takes one person's decision will alter the perfect balance of how your life can be!. What with more and more people populating the planet, the chances of our lives turning out perfectly ethical to the majority become slimmer!.
However !.!.!. this does not make any individual that tries to be ethically sound bad, it simply means the chances of reaching the Utopia of what life can be particularly slim!.
So, to my mind, humanity (if if does suck) simply does because there are failings in every one of us!. All this said, on balance, the world and humanity are not so bad !.!. misguided maybe, but not so bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't humanity that sucks!.!.!. it is mankind!.

Some have lost the ability for compassion, understanding, courtesy and kindness toward their fellow man!.
Usually it is something either in their nature or something in their life happened to change the way they feel about others!. Some are just self-centered!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

once, back when we were at our best (for reasons that are about to become clear) we, like every other beast, were prey to natural selection!. we basically became too successful!. nothing eats us!. even disease is nowhere near the threat it once was!. we therefore became arrogant & began to see/treat nature as a toy!. & losing any trace of respect for life itself, it was a dreadfully small step to losing any trace of respect for anything & everything else!. we basically reclassified our own species, by our general behaviour towards the wider world around us (including our own species), from a mammal of the ape family to that of a parasite/virus!. it is arguable that our evolutionary peak was in the age of da vinci, michaelangelo, newton, pasteur etc!. the leaps in science & medicine with the technical abilities of the age were astonishing, if not miraculous!. now!? we think we're doing so! well because we can evel countries at the push of a button!. it's called regression to the wild state & we shoot dogs for a far lesser degree of it!. look at modern human behaviour & think of the ape things at the start of 2001 space oddyssey!. we're back to braining each other over water-holes!. but now, when we swing our jaw-bone clubs, we flatten cities rather than heads!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

because of the corruption going on!. T!.v is **** now, but everyone is attached to all that crap!. Most women now a days are so focused on looking beautiful and young, so thats what they devote their life to!. And it makes them a selfish person!. therefore, most women are bad people!. And most men just want sex!. Well, now look what we have to deal with!. All of the sexual transmitted diseases!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Because you choose to see the sucking part and ignore the beauty and the greatness, the good part of mankind, the smiles and the big laughs, the hugs and the "be there for you" part!.

Start looking for and pointing out the good traits in those around you!. This will give your attitude about life a lift and it will bring out the best in others!. I find that if I concentrate on bringing out the best in the person I am with (friend or store clerk) I am rarely disappointed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think because of our intelligence, we get bored too easily and must be entertained with TV, computer, and junk food!. America is too lazy to actually help the enviroment!. I'm almost positive that at this rate, in 400 years, we won't even exist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
