Question: Who believes everything happens for a reason!?!?

I let my mentally handicapped son drive my car for 2 blocks and he got the brake and the gas confused and ran into the tree in my yard! My car was totaled and thank god he was ok!. My daughter was with him and she is ok! Thanks to airbags!! But in my heart i feel it happened for a reason! wish i knew what that reason was! But i feel real guilty for allowing it to happen!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have always believe things happen in our lives for a reason --- good and bad!. Sometimes bad things need to happen to us for us to wake up and make better choices, or seize the day, and live like we are dying, as they say!. And sometimes I think things cannot happen when we want them to, because there are other missing events we are waiting on!. So, things must happen in a particular sequence, no matter how bad we want them to happen now!.
