Question: Is Buddhism simply the direct conscious experience of the void, instead of the unconsciousness of those who!.!.!.
are not in direct contact with it!?

Are lives are a manifestation of the void!. the only difference between an enlightened man and one who is not is being aware of it and constructing ones life according to it!?

The void: Interconnectedness and impermanence of all things!. empty mind (or at least for temporary periods)
of notions, concepts and mental filters arising from a created ego/identity (understood by one as being permenant),
which arises from the attachment to transient mental activity
e!.g!. images, thoghts, ideas etc!.

Please correct my understand of the 'void' if i am wrong!.

2nd question: Does our need to attach ourselves to mental activity, material objects and relationships etc!.
come from our need to have security on all levels of life, inorder to find firm ground, which stems from our ignornance of the void!? Is this correct!?

If so, why do we not know from the beginnig this knowledge of the void sinse it is fundamental to existense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

> The void

this definition will do no worse than any other!. not better though!.

it's simple: no matter how well i describe a tree out of the window, the tree you'd picture out of my description will greatly differ from what i see!. there is no adequate way to define what neither exists nor not exists with words that hold discrimination as it's basis!.

> 2nd question

quite the contrary: the need for security is fear of loss, which is bred by attachment!. root of attachment is ignorance!.

for example, have you ever wondered why the sun is yellow, grass is green, etc!.!? it merely is because you were told so!. if you were told that sun is green from your birth you'd believe that!. that's the way any attachment is taught!.

> If so, why do we not know from the beginnig this knowledge
> of the void sinse it is fundamental to existense!.

:) what makes you think that you don't know!? i'll tell you a big secret: actually you do!. when you discover it, you'd slap your forehead and ask yourself: 'how could i miss such a simple thing right before the nose!?' :)

> And how can one be sure this is the true nature of existence

that's simple: if it works, than it's right!. if it does not work, than it's wrong!. if one assembles a bike incorrectly the bike won't carry that one!.

buddhism is not an esoteric teaching of arcane magic - it's a tool like screw driver!. no need to hold a screw driver to be anything other than it is!.

good luck!.
