Question: Do you believe in the rule of law!?
A related question: which do you value more, the well being of individuals or the well being of society!? If you don't see how these questions relate, think about this: when a criminal goes to prison, that individual is (usually) much worse off, and society is (usually) a bit better off!. When a serial killer gets put to death, they are (obviously) much worse off, and society is better off!. Are there any specific laws that you feel should not be in place!? Or are there any extra laws you would implement if you could!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, the rule of law is the best way to be fair and impartial!. It is hard sometimes!.
The biggest laws I would overturn is the drug laws!. I think people should be legally able to buy drugs and use them all they want-or make cigarettes and liquor illegal-it is joke other wise!. I STILL would NOT smoke cigarettes or shoot heroin, but I am an adult and should be able to die however I choose!.
I also think it should be mandatory JAIL TIME for driving impaired!. Because when you become impaired and drive, you endangering others!. That is NOT your right!.
I think Prostitution should be legal!. I still would feel bad for men and women who used them or were them, but commerce among consenting adults hurts no one!. I would STILL be monogamous and expect it in a partner!. There are LOTS of married people are really prostitutes, but have a ring to disguise themselves!.
If you give a disease to anyone, you should be prosecuted for assault with a weapon!.
Well-treated, educated and secure individuals make a better society!. Throw-away people make for a throw-away society, since society doesn't exist in a vacuum, but is made up of people!.
I think American society is like a big baby-sitter, scared to death to let its charges live!. I think we should have a lot more personal freedom, and VERY strict laws to protect nice and innocent people from predators and degenerates!.
I value the rights and freedoms of individuals in concert with the rule of law which is in place to assure we treat other people well!.
If someone breaks into my house, he needs to lose his rights and freedoms!. I didn't break into HIS house!. If I chase him into his house, I need to have him arrested, not dead!.
If someone hurts someone while drunk in a car, they need to be forced into treatment for alcoholism and in jail for a very long time!. No such thing as 3-4-5 chances!.
If you drown your child, you should not be allowed to ever have children around you!.
Let the punishment Fit the crime!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wouldn't have capital punishment!. I believe a soul needs to die when it's time is up!. I believe society would be better served by changing prisons!. Instead of gymnasiums which make our local gyms look old and tacky, instead of allowing prisoners in kitchens and to roam the prison!. They should give prisoners mostly solitude!. Leaving them locked up with their own conscience!. With little need for elaborate equipment, only basic needs for the prisoners, and scanning of visitors, it will end the drug problems in prisons!. also end the unrest!. Retired police officers being employed as prison guards!. also I wouldn't be putting grannys who have difficulty paying local council taxes into prison, nor very minor offenses which can be nipped in the bud through counselling!.

Oops, I sound dictatorial!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Laws exist to protect capitalism!. Sometimes those laws can be seen to protect human interests, but that's an illusion; laws only exist to protect capitalism!. Take a good look at the planet, do you really believe that capitalism is that good!? I certainly do not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm one of the few who believe in the rule of constitutional law !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Am not sure am understanding what exactly you're trying to ask!. sorryWww@QuestionHome@Com

i feel like that isnt a valid qeustion, i see ure points and u got no arguments from this end,;however, i think that there both just as important, even if one is a killer or if its man versus society!. each person creates the society, subtract any one of us no matter how big or how small and uve changed the way of life without knowing it, if the wrong person was executed and he left behind a loving family and a son, look at what becomes of society, sya the family goes nuts, then what!.every desision that's made in this world has more than 1 effect on society whether we know it or not!. without chaos and discord, everything else could not exist, for it is in the mist of chaos that we are born, it is then that we choose to honor and to love one another, it is then that we choose to live, and to be happy, or sad oreven mad!. throwing away one man's life could mean an end to us all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
