I am looking to find anything that cannot in some way be challenged!. Having thought about disproving God, it has struck me that almost nothing can be totally denied, so I would be interested to see if anyone knows something that can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Check out Descarte- he made a strong effort, but such is the nature of what we know that we know, that it might well be that our understanding of reality in all its manifestations is arbitrary and ultimately deniable!. Of course, if that statement is true, then that's undeniable!.Www@QuestionHome@Com nothing in undeniable, if you believe that existence is debatable!. I live ( who says!? ), I am typing this note ( maybe not!? ), I live in a house ( it looks like one to me )!. Even in ethics classes when we talked about " if " statements that were undeniable, they all worked only if you believed in an intro preface/statement ( god is infallible , etc!. )!. I went through the list so far of answers and I can deny all of them in some way or another as not being " definitive " or " absolute "!. Everyone likes to think there is something that is real, but I cannot put a 100% tag on any of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com All bachelors are unmarried men!. It's an apriori truth in that the first part 'bachelors' is equivalent to the second part 'unmarried men'!. It is impossible to be a bachelor, in the strictest sense of the word, and be married or be female!. Conversely, if you are an unmarried man you must be a bachelor (though some would dispute whether the pope counts)!. It's like saying 2 = 2!. It has to be the case!.
