I believe many of us have children mostly from innate biological mechanisms!. However, to be blunt, many have children for all the wrong reasons!. I have some female friends that have children for a variety of reasons, so I guess nature is clever in that it will take its course in some inevitable fashion!.

I don't think the human race will ever be able to successfully regulate reproduction!. We would just have to adapt to the rise of birth rates, in my opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think all of the non logical reasons for having children come from evolution!. there can be some logical ones that differ from person to person!.

the only way to regulate reproduction is to use logical means, such as laws or economic like taxes!.

technically though there is supposed to be no limit on how much we reproduce, yet a certain percentage that would die, thus we would evolve!. but now technology, intelligence, logic, has allowed us to grow at too fast a rate and the only way to slow it down is to slow it down logically!.

we evolved to be capable of having too many children in comparison to our survival rate!. our birth rate has improved and so has our survival rate, thus we reproduce too much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that, for the majority, we have a deep biological urge to have a child!. There are some people that pop children out just for the hell of it!. Well, that or they think condoms are satanical!.!.!.(Ever see that show on the Duggar family!.!.!.ohh man)!.
