There's no such thing as a dream in general; dreams can lead us to catharsis, bliss, problem solutions or haunt us like our worst nightmares!. So how do I draw a dream in general, especially not the one I've had before!?
You're asking to erase the category of dreams from our minds as we know it!. I can't draw a dream in general!. And I can't draw a dream I've never had!.
But I'd be more than interested to hear how YOU do it, if nothing else, then later in comments!. ThxWww@QuestionHome@Com

A Great-Artist once said, 'Most people will see a chair and begin to draw it one-leg at a time and so on, I take a different approach, I see the square or rectangle between the front leg and back leg and attempt to draw it(others call this negative-space in my craft!.!.'

1) For me Dreams are very similar to how Betty Edwards draws landscapes, still-lifes, etc!.!.!.!.

2) Though I have yet to practice what I am now preaching, its good to brainstorm for the day when fate gives me a swift kick to start!.!.!.!.

3) The Negative-Space in my life represents what I don't want:

A) A paycheck without it overvaluing or undervaluing the passion required to go into it (The professions I hold most in regard err on the side of undervaluing, like Teaching!.!.)

B) Relationships that come to easy, or the Yes-men of life!.!.!. people who want or keep you in their life for your usefullness, but never are there when you need them most!.!.!.

C) Being a part of something that has no capacity or potential for change, and will remain static and stymied till some major earthquake of change strikes first!.!.!.

Then as I draw upon the canvas of Life, these negative-spaces!.!.!.!. I start to notice the representations of what I do want !.!.!.!.

A1) To be valued by self, others, and those lives I'm immediatelly involved in mostly!. And to be content enough to live comfortably with some left over for some of the cheaper luxuries of life!.!.!.

B1) Challenging relationships, some that inspire me to strive to be helpful, productive, etc, on a level I felt I could never be such!. And inspiring others, that are sincerely struggling to do the same at a level I was just years ago!.!.!.

C1) Being part of a movement that is in the throws of a revolution, to me the portrait/drawing seems to be fleshing out a career in the field of Teaching, whatever capacity that may be!.!.!.!. and that something is greater then myself!.!.!.!. and to feel the pride of helping out a student, child, of whatever age!.!.!. and know that you helped remove some of the emmotional-blocks that has not only held them back, but others in their families for years if not decades or better!.

There's a lot of things that have to happen first, before I cash this drawing/portrait in for Reality!.!.!.!. but it was a step I was unwilling to really make till just now, and thank you for teaching me to do so!.!.!. best wishes in the portraits of your dreams!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
