The child knows everything that is important in life and how to enjoy it (more than we can say about adults)!. Knowledge is worth nothing when someone else knows all the same knowledge as yourself!. In most cases I would have to say that the old man is wiser because he has experience on his side!. One would also hope that after a life time the old man would be more knowledgeable!. Of course I have met plenty of older men who are dumber then a box of rocks!.
