Whenever anyone asks this question I can't help but quote Shakespeare's 116th sonnet:

Let me not to the marriage of true minds

Love is a lot of things!. Its when a person gives of himself to others without asking for anything in return!. Its taking care of your mom when she's sick!. Its Parents never complaining about lack of sleep when they care for their newborn baby!. Love is knowing when others are hurting and you hurt along with them!. Love can be an emotion that is felt or a decision that is made!.
