Pure happiness that is going to sustain trials cannot be bought!. It is an inner happiness!.

On the other hand-- some types of happiness can be bought!. When I stop at Starbucks and get my favorite latte, it brings a smile on my face to enjoy the drink!. It won't last long, but it did bring me happiness for a short duration of time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've always considered 'happiness' to be the direct emotional reaction to a particular situation or circumstance!. Using this rationale one could purchase physical objects or pay for services that would create the aforementioned circumstances and by doing so achieve a state of happiness; however this would technically be a by-product and as such have very little sustainability!. The duration of the 'happiness' would also be dependent on the person experiencing the emotion remaining consistent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are poor then for the most part happiness is crowded out by the concerns and difficulties brought on by poverty!. So, being not-poor affords the possibility of greater happiness!. But of course some people will never be happy no matter how fortunate their circumstances!. I think that there is a law of diminishing returns in that ever increasing riches do not bring ever increasing happiness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I know people that have plenty of things and money, and they are so miserable!. Happines doesn't have to cost anything!. Try things that don't cost anything, such as volunteering!. Sometimes the greatest happiness is knowing that you helped someone else, and you end up helping yourself tremendously!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am one of those people that loves to shop for something, anything when I am feeling down!. But lately money has been tight so when I want to buy something it makes me literally sick to my stomach!. So my remedy is pay more attention to my husband and kids!. Amazing what a game of frisby in the yard will do to get me smiling and laughing!. Just look at the movie stars that have died from suicide or overdose!.!.they were obviously not happy with there life and they had tons of money!.!.!.all these celebs going into rehab for depression, they can buy them selves whatever they wanted but they are still down about something!. It is a temporary high, but I guess when you are use to being able to get what you want it isnt fun anymore after a long time, its just normal to you and you are still missing something in your life!.!.!.but what is it!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
