If I was to drop a small item & I get down on the floor to seek it out!.
If I then find the obscured object & rise up with glee, I may hit the back of my head, on the extremely obvious desk surrounding me that I just crawled under!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The obscure takes longer to see because it's either hidden or farther removed!. The obvious is right there in front of you!. However, there are those times when one is oblivious to the obvious because they are too busy seeking the obscure (as in the example given by Regwah)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hmmmmm!.!.!.!.!.that is a difficult one!. I suppose it would be!.!.!.the obvious!. But then again, what's obvious to most people just!.!.!.isn't to me!. Perhaps I spend too much time studying the obscure :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
