We have emotional needs as well as physical ones!. It's just how we're made!. We're not sharks who don't need other sharks around to be happy!. We're social animals!. And our relationships with other people are the source of our greatest happiness and our greatest pain!. It can happen for you!. there's nothing about how you were made that makes it impossible for you to experience love and intimacy!. You just have emotional barriers and behaviors(that were learned at some point in your life) in place that keep sabatoging your relationships, that keep you from achieving the intimacy you desire!. By asking this question you've already started on a journey of discovery!. Make it a journey of self discovery!. Look into your heart to see what's standing in the way of getting close to others!. Use therapy(if you can afford it), self help books, the internet, trusted friends and what ever else you think might help to help you on this journey!.
