It's a plot point in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that they discover that the answer to life, the universe, and everything is "42"!. It's not supposed to mean anything, it's a joke!. That's just Douglas Addams doing what he does!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I dont think there is a single answer to everything in life and the Universe, nor are there just 42 answers!. I believe that the world and universe are so complex that they are possibly as many answers as there are stars and galaxies!. And probably some of the answers are half-complete ones, due to the lack of technology and human intelligence!. Who would know the answers to: the most distant galaxy, the shape of the Universe, its boundary or when it would stop expanding!? Right now it is just speculations and theories, and many of them keep on changing, so we can never know the Truth, the real answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Each person shall find it's own answer to life, universe and everything!
Some seek these answers through religion, some may be contented that they are comfortable with their conclusions, some may never find these answers!.

Humanity will for ever seek these answers!.
