Question: How do we measure astrology!?!?
How do we measure astrology!?!? i'm suppose to write a paper against Daivd Hume and Wesley Salmon!.!.!.

Their argument is that we have no reason to believe scientific predictions then we have reason to believe the predictions of astrology!.!.!.

ANd i want to argue that astrology is not based on laws, which have the chance to be false since laws are not 100% certian!.!.!. which would be why HUme believes we can not be certain of astrology!.!.!.!.!.

I don't want anyone to bash astrology because that doesn't help my argument!.!.!. i just want someone to help assure me of my argument!.!.!.

Thanks for the helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

astrology is a science based on mathematics and astronomy!. as long as you bel;ieve the stars, you will have to believe and experience!. you must have a expert astrologer to give acurate predictions!. it all depends on the planetary system that is ruling at thye time of your birth and at the time of your consultation with the astrologer!. there are very good and guide you for your welfare!. but one will have to accept the prediction as normally people doesnot want to hear negative results as we have to accept both good and bad!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"laws are not 100% certian" (sic)

Oh boy!. Scientific laws are 100% certain, that's why they are called LAWS!. Newton's laws of gravity never fail when they are applied to the real world!. Never!. Their "prediction" rate is always 100%!.

If, and it's a big if, David Hume said that scientific laws have little predicative value, then he was wrong!. And as Kant showed, Hume had a poor grasp of the notion of causality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
