Cynics don't believe anything they are told!. Let's say they take everything with a pinch of salt!.
Stoics don't show emotion!. Shakespeare illustrated this in the quarrel scene between Brutus and Cassius when, in 'Julius Caesar', Brutus says: O Cassius , I am sick of many griefs
Cassius: Of your philosophy (Stoicism) you make no use,
If you give place to accidental evils!.
Brutus: No man bears sorrow better - Portia (his wife) is dead!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Cynic: A cynic is one who holds a pessimistic and negative attitude towards life!. Nihilistic and sceptical he disbelieves what others trust and place faith in!.

Stoic: A stoic is however an optimistic positive person holding belief in the triumph of truth over adversity, goodness over perversity!. It is an ancient belief based upon faith in ones composure and a moderate outlook determining positive ultimate outcome with diligent and endeavour!.

Stoicism prevails regardless and undeterred by doomsayers and the revolutionists who invariably reach the end of their own tails in each case of attempting to undo or unravel ancient wisdom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stocis is a posture in life to stand any event or fact without dispair!. Cynics reject feelings (specially noble ones) when evil or violence appear (even increase the pain to other s by disregarding other people's suffering)Www@QuestionHome@Com
