Perhaps my friend your existence is not free after all, perhaps philosophy seeks to redeem the debt of existence!.
For if ever thing at all in life was ever free existence would be the only thing I can think of that fits the bill, not just personal existence but EXISTENCE, life, the universe, and everything!.
Seemingly it was all free, but in light of your question, perhaps I shall have to reconsider this notion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What an interesting question!. There is a certain sense of accomplishment we get whenever we've attained a certain goal or stature!. Until such a time as that - until we've arrived at our desired goal - we are lacking!. When we are lacking, we yearn!. Yearning leads to thinking leads to speculating leads to contemplating leads - ultimately - to philosophy!.

So there you have it!. It is the lack of finality that leads to philosophy!.

Just a guess!.!.!. ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
