It is said the creation cannot be greater than the sum part of its created constituents!. If the creator cannot evidentially perfect the world how then can man be expected to perfect his own immediate world!.
Is this logic plausible!. !.!.!. !?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The ego is the part of us that gets a good massaging and feels all warm and happy after we accomplished something, something that took virtue or self-discipline!. But we can turn it against us by preferring evil!. Freud said it is the Executive of the Faculty of Reason!. And like any good executive, it must act in accord with what is best for the individual!. Sometimes, when we are not harming others, that which is best is often just having fun!. It is the ego that feels moral goodness when we use our abilities, especially to their extremes!. If this was not so, Comte and his altruists would not declare that we must quash the ego, abnegate the self, and put the zombie that is left to the good of the Church (Comte), or society (Kant, Hegel) or to the Common Good (Marx)!. We are not expected to perfect our world!. If anything is to be brought to perfection it is only our moral willingness to identify and follow reason!. You don't need to be infallible to be as good as you can be!. But if you abnegate your self-identity by quashing the ego, you will not be as good as you can be!. The ego is an illusion, which was conceived of mans perception that he exists separate from all other aspects of creation!. The dissolution of the ego is reached when man gives up his identity to become one with that from which he was created!. The I returns to the All!. (It is said the creation cannot be greater than the sum part of its created constituents)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.That which makes up man is equal to man!. Whenever atoms, molecules, matter etc!. forms to make man!.!.!.!.!.!.man is formed!. Thus it can be said that man is not greater than that of which he was conceived!. However, the creation of All is not equal to that which created All!. That which has "like" can be equivocated!. Thus, a mans creation is a reflection of man himself because they share the likeness of physical forces (Man and computers are both comprised of atoms)!. However, he that created All is not like All that is created!. The sum of creation does not equal the creator-because the creator has no like!. All of creation shares a likeness because all was created from he!. Therefore man and that from which man was formed can be equivocated!. It is only he that is perfect, for he is the source of all that is!. Man is expected to perfect this world because man most closely resembles that which is perfect!. Man was created in the image of the creator, thus man creates and has the power to cause change!. P!.s!. I do NOT believe in an omniscient, omnipotent supernatural being that created everything and is distinct from it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Everything is perfect in its own right and function but the addition of other elements can disrupt harmony!. The error is in concluding that makes the perfect imperfect because it is not necessarily so!. If you or I were the only people in the world then we would be perfect simply because there is none to question our views or challenge our actions!. I do not think a perfect entity exists (everything/everyone can lay claim to perfection and rightly so) but perfect harmony can be attained (the natural world works quite harmoniously without human interference) which is what is lacking!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I'm not sure what the constituents of the Ego have to do with 'creation'!. In Freudian psychology, the Ego mediates what we take as 'reality'!. The "creation cannot be greater than the sum of the parts"!? Says who!? Every human being is greater than the sum of its parts!. The Gaia hypothesis posits that Nature, or the Earth, is greater than the sum of its parts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com TA talks about 3 interactive internally and externally ego states Parent - both controlling boundary setting and nurturing adult - logic & present thinking Child - including free child and socialized child = It would seem that there are enough processing parts to think feel and act in ways that might better ones own world - change is possible as the learning and results can be plotted!. I thought that there was evidence in physics of some material which did come out of nowhere intermittently!.
