It depends , what kind of things you do also , do you provoke the devil to come to you ! If you belive in those kind of things, those things will happen to you, I had a friend who believed in ghosts and she was constantly turning around watching about and also telling me she heard noises in her room and yada yada yada!. But how come you never hear of a person who don't belive in ghosts ,see a ghost or hear about one !. I use to hear the same thing on one hand I would here the devil telling me to do things and say things that I never would say or do!. but at the moment of my life I really didn't care what I did!. God puts us in that kind of predicaments to challenge us!. The devil appeared because he saw an opportunity to get u to do something bad!. If I can, can I ask was u sober or mad at something at that time!? Always listen to God he knows best!. sometimes the devil wants to come out and play and he goes searching for the easies target and I guess that was u!. You heard God because u are his child and God looks out for his children even if you don't believe in him, he believes in you!.
