If it is not curious then it is not a cat!. What also killed the cat was to not be curious!. Further if the a state of being curious is a fundamental quality of being a cat then it does not harm the condition of cat hood!. Instead only a smaller percentage of specific circumstances where curiosity leads death makes that quality terminal and a detriment!. But curiosity insures the survival of the cat in most circumstances experienced by a typical member of said class!.
