Apocalyptic literature is written in symbolic/prophetic language!. The Judeo/Christian concept of prophetic language is not so much a direct prediction of the future, rather the symbolic language used by the Prophets/priesthood to educate the people!. Teaching them to walk with, 'God Who is with us'!. Thus when the Sanhedrin interrogate Christ, and He says, 'I Am', they rightly take it to mean He says He is THE, 'I Am', who spoke to Moses!. They read symbolic meaning into His words!. This is Apocalyptic language!. The strong link you ask about would depend entirely on what texts you are referring to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not that I know of!. Apocalyptic literature is usually science fiction!. Prophetic literature is!.!.!.!.well, I don't know what it is unless you consider Nostrodamus and others as writing literature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
