Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I was always bothered by "have your cake and eat it too!." What's the point of having a cake if you can't eat it!? Then - when I became enlightened - I realized they meant they wanted 1 cake to eat and 1 cake to look at and admire it's mouth-watering beauty!.
