If you were a perfectly compassionate being, would it be right for you to have children!? also, how do you feel about human directed panspermia, the idea of sending packets of life to other planets in an effort to spread life through the universe!? Often conventional wisdom allows children to suffer a little bit in order to make them stronger!.

For example, the conventional route taken with children is to not suffocate them by being overly protective, but allow them to grow on their own, accepting the fact that - although their welfare is our final interest - they will suffer on the way!.

We perceive this suffering as necessary to their growth and beneficial to them!.

So it follows that a compassionate being that was more aware than we of our final destination could potentially put us through trials in order to mature us and allow us to develop into stronger, better people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I don't agree!. A perfectly compassionate being may not be omnipotent, and so may not have a choice in creating said beings!.

Furthermore, it may be compassionate to create beings who are doomed to suffer, IF the creation of those beings will bring about greater happiness!. If you're a utilitarian!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No i do not agree!. The compassion lies in giving us life, we see things as good or bad thus creating our own suffering!. Originally The being you speak of put us in a non-delusional world which we promptly desecrated with our false thinking!.(Tree of Good and Bad) Maybe there was no physical tree!. The eating of the apple signifies our choice to have delusions!. Let go of all things and have no suffering attach yourself to one thing at all and enter into a myriad of difficulties!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe our idea of "suffering" is on a very small scale!. We were not created so we would all get to have easy lives!. Does that make sense, cosmically!? We were created compassionately, and it's possible to find that kind of compassion around us all the time if we know how to look!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
