Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i think there is more than one 'soulmate' but I think I have found one of mine!. You really know it is the person for you, when it is truly give and take!. Their needs come before yours and vica versa!. The more time you spend with them, the closer and closer you get, and the more you grow and develop as people!. A soulmate is someone who brings out the ultimate best in you, and you bring out their best as well!. You become better people simply by being together!. You begin to care so deeply for this person that you dont need anything else, you have no void to fill, you are truly happy!. Sometimes its a scary kind of love, as losing them would be the end of your world!. overall, I think a person like that is out there for everyone!. You can’t have a sole mate and expect to change, because your sole mate has to change too! Views, opinions, interests, taste all in sync and simultaneously with you! If you a scientist sat in a lab attempting to cure cancer, and you make this your life’s work, then your associate, may be regarded as your sole mate!. You too may agree!. Or maybe it's just your definition of a soul mate changes as you realize every time your heart breaks; that the person who you "thought" was your soul mate wasn't!. We could have a website linking these people just like the web site for children who locate their sperm donor parent and sibling(s)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com We come across many people during our life here who are soulmates, those of the same sex who become our friends, those people who's friendship lasts the test of time!. also those special people who are fleeting and memorable in our lives!. There are also many potential partners who can be soulmates, usually it is our animal instincts which take over and choose a partner based on sense of smell, taste etc rather than their intellect or personality!. Our chemical needs as animals to find a mating partner, someone who will be acceptable to our own genes!. I have heard them called soul clusters!. As far as relationship/marriage type of stuff I absolutely believe you only have one soul mate!.
