If the project manager has personality flaws won't these inevitably show over time !?
If the seeming minutiae of what they do shows personality flaws, might you then want to look at the safety-critical products they have been claiming to be producing !?
Wouldn't it be minutiae, overhearing them saying "Give Jojo something to do, I saw him sitting at his desk", that might cause you to think "Hang on!. Jojo is paid to sit at his desk and think!. Why is this supposedly capable project manager saying this !? We should dig deeper!. What sort of throw-away comments have they been making !? Are they always this flippant !?" When you dig deeper you might realise that staff have been shuffled around by the project manager
