Oh, yes! Everything humans do for others without ever expecting anything in return, in fact they do it for themselves, to satisfy their ego, our to appreciate themselves as being good persons, and feel proud about (without bragging about what they have done)!. When no one knows what a good deed we've done, it's more precious to us!.
It is something people do for their souls and therefore, when folks find out about it and cannot figure out the reason, as they do not notice any material benefit or any social appreciation or any kind of gratification whatsoever, they call it selfless, when in fact is the most selfish of all, because it doesn't even give the reason for it to the great public!. And to the public eye it is so frustrating, so incomprehensible, and yet a good deed, that it has to be magnificent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

nope those two are complete antonyms!. In order for you to truly have selfless love for someone you have to be willing to watch them walk away and not try and stop them!. No matter what they do you will always love them!.
You have to give them freedom and understand if they no longer want to be with you but still continue to love them!. Its very difficult because most people when they love someone they want to hold on to them and secret them away forever, but that's selfish!.!.!.!. you have to realize they aren't yours!. Selfless love can be a paradox!.

If a person gives up everything (friends, family, comfort) for his/her partner, he or she has a reason such as keeping the relationship together no matter what or be a better partner than a parent!. Those reasons ultimately are not evil but they are egocentric!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
