Question: What would it take to make us all just get along!? what kinds of laws!? what kinds of morality!?

how can we all come together and make this planet safer healthy kinder!? what are the things you think we could work on to make this world a better place!? what would it take away from us if everyone had the same opportunities!? what would it hurt us to live and let live!? take religion out of your answer and find the common thing which we all can get along with!. i am not interested in starting a battle with any of you over religion!. peace is what i want please give me real input not doom and gloom!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. Unity in diversity!. 2!. Build bridges, not walls!. We will forever remain diverse (to the naked eye) but if we truly consider ourselves 'civilised' then we will see that, underneath all those visible differences, we are actually one and the same!. If only we can accept the FACT that none of us are here of our own 'conscious' volition!. We are placed, wherever we find ourselves, by some higher authority, whatever you chose to call Him or Her!. We do not choose our mothers and fathers!. We could have been born to any parent in any part of the world!. So, why should we be so proud of our race and look down upon other races!. After all, it is not our ingenuity that got us into whatever race we belong to!. So, the first step is to 'accept' our differences and learn to live as one!. "Tolerance' is not the word because 'tolerance' connotes the notion that one is right and the other wrong!. Laws will not help much!. I think this is simple and I honestly believe the bottom line is happiness!.

I wish I had the answer! I know for sure that making laws isn't the answer!. A good start would be for everyone to have enough food, clean water and a decent place to live, way easier said then done! How do we change people who have thousands of years of hatred for those of another race or religion!? Love and forgiveness for all (sounds like Jesus I know), or even just live and let live!.The lust of some individuals for wealth and power has been screwing up the world for millennia!. I think that's one of the oldest questions!. It is sad that we can't seem to get along, but I don't see any way to make it happen!. Everyone has free will!. Some people choose to exercise their free will to make the world a better place!. Others act to make their own lives better!. But the scary ones are those who act to make others' lives worse!. You can't make the world a better place by closing your eyes and turning away from from darkness!. You have to stand against it and shine your own light of goodness on it!. Bad people thrive because good people choose not to confront them!. So you get to choose what *you* will do while you're on this earth!. You cannot choose for others but you can be a role model!. People tend to act well if they're shown how and know that's what's expected of them!. Make that choice for yourself, choose to associate with people who make that choice as well!. Be a role model to everyone else!. Laws don't work because they often have unintended consequences!. Morality is often used to separate "us" from "them!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

If we took society and made into a communistic society, this would take freedom of speech, religion,to bear arms,on and on away!.
This is what is going on in America anyways, that is communism!.

Otherwise rewire the human brain!.
Look at little kids with no supervision, they go primal !.
As a society we have tv's,computer,cell phones, all this stuff raising our kids instead of parents!.
We basically have children raising themselves!. What do we expect then!? These kids to go violet!. This is a basic human emotion, to survive any means possible!.
Someone who says they are not,nor ever could be violent is lying to themselves and everyone else!. These people have not been put into the position to have to be violent!.

Take the draft for instance!. These people did not sign up for war, but were drafted!. They have some choices here, run away (and be put in jail if caught, and be a felon and be violent in prison to survive) or fight for the "freedoms" for America!.

These soldiers are put into the position to kill or be killed!. They know it is wrong to kill, but life is more important then dying!. Ever know a Vietnam vet who killed himself because society treated him so badly after he came home!? I have and it was sad!! I had many talks with him!. He was to be my brother in law!.

Another example, take the people who commit suicide, or talk about it who claim not to be violent (take the example above)!. How does on kill themselves and not be violent in some way!?!?

So I see your question is from someone who has very little life experiences!. Who may have kids, but never had anyone threaten there life!. Someone who would rather have someone else be violent for them!. Someone who has never stood up for themselves or someone who was in a life and death situation!.
Ying and yang, for peace to happen someone has to be violent !. There are those who stick there heads in the sand and do not find reality to be a "fun" place, then those who see reality as what it is, and the human existence more then black and white!.!.!.!.

I think it would be a better if we only took what we needed!.!. there is tons of food in grocery stores yet there are people hungry!. We need to reuse things and not have so many disposables as this litters the earth!. There should be more community and getting to know your neighbor - why is health care so atrocious!? How much do you need to know to say, "Yes, you have a fever/cough" whatever and send someone home !.!.!. obviously, there needs to be specialists with the any ailments out there!. Less fast food - more home made meals and family time!. These are just some ideas of the top of my head!. also, just try to be content with what you have and not want what someone else has!.!.!. set goals though so you have something to strive for!.!. okay, that is really it!. =)
