I agree that you should pursue your dream with passion, but would also caution you in your endeavor, especially now with the economy in its current state!. I would recommend you first check out your area to see specifics on what the gas costs have done to local restaurants and tourist industries!. If your area is "safe", then look for the financing to open your own business!. ***Please be advised that the restaurant industry is a very difficult one and most go out of business within the first two years!. Let him know that you would love to have his support and feel you may be very successful with it, but you still plan to successful without his support!. I don't want to be Dr!. Phil or any kind of marriage councilor, but relationships work better when both partners are aligned rather than involved!. As your husband, he should respect your decision, and not hold you back from pursuing your ambitions and understand how you feel about this!. also you have to understand how he feels about it too, without compromising you!.
