I think helping others does give us satisfaction, but as well as that, it kinda makes us forget about our own troubles for a while!. also, when you hear other peoples, sometimes your own doesn't always feel quite as bad!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Let me start by saying you can't solve any one Else's problems, without solving your first that's the blind leading the blind, you can assit others in many way's, but solve you must solve your own first at least have a testimony, or some experience in these matters, on how yours was solved, other than that, you are giving bad information, or guessing at best, which many do all the time, that's why we have a world of ignorance sin and denial!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Who you start trying to solve everyone else's woes, you are taking on a burden for yourself that rightfully belongs to another!. In effect, you are facilitating them by not making them deal with their issues!.

I remember story from Hassidic tales and legends that says that if everyone in the village were to hang their problem on a coathood and walk into a great room having the opportunity to exchange their problems for those of another, they would all take their problems off the coathooks when they left because the problems of another are too much for them!.

You have to deal with your own issues!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The alleviating of others woes binds us tighter to our chains!.

It is a fool who preached from the devils lair!. The devil is supremely powerful, and Raboni undoes the good works of love by abject failure and the inescapable truth that she is betrayed by the very one she lauds!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People dont know themselves nearly as well as they think they do!. You can know a perfect stranger better than yourself!. We lie to yourselves, dilute ourselves!. Arrogance and egocentrism and simple egotistical behavior!. Our egos shield us from the truths about ourselves!. People dont want to know the truth!.!.!. especially if its painful or insulting!. That is why we get angry at others for saying offensive things and why truth often hurts!. "You dont know me!" is a common retort!. We would rather live in the delusion of being perfect or as worth while as we would like to believe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I Am very afraid to Address My own!.
I have been Deeply Deeply Hurt So Many Times Before,So In Helping Others I am Not Having To Face My Fears Of Falling In LOve and Hurting Again!. I Suppose I Have Built A Barrier,That I Am so Afraid of Removing!
Besides I Like Being Of Use To Someone!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It can be so easy to see deeply into others, but we too often have trouble delving into ourselves!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
