Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A true philosopher will always define a human activity (and philosophy is one of them) telling that it very well could be said in another way, given that the being may be said in different forms -- according to Aristotle and to the language that we use on philosophizing!. That said, I would say: In practice, philosophy: a pure human rational activity that looks for universal truths and the principles of any kind of knowledge, which might by scientific or not (by art or faith, or common sense etc!.) In theory, and this completes the first exposition, it is a set of particular and universal affirmations based on human capacity of reasoning, where any empirical datas are left behind in order to only work with concepts!.
