As far as piercings go, my body has just the right amount of holes in it now; I don't want or need any more!.

As far as tattoos, I don't care for them!. It's a personal prejudice, I guess, but I feel that they make women look "cheap!." One or two on a man isn't so bad, if they're done in good taste!. Yes, it's sexist!! It's personal preference!. I have a right to my opinion, even though lots of others won't agree with me, but you asked!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Indicates a lack of self respect, and a lot of inner pain!. For whatever reasons, these people (w/ excessive piercings especially),are severely unhappy, and need to express that however they can!. They need attention, they need closure, and they need validation!. Having a high suseptibilty to peer pressure also contributes!.
They are not necessarily dangerous, just desperate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am super happy with life and everything in it!.
I have an awesome boyfriend, awesome apartment, great friends, and just a happy life making money and being independent!.
I also have many tattoos and piercings!.
Doesn't make me a bad, desperate, emotional person!.
I just like to express myself through art!.

I want a lip ring!. I think piercings are pretty!.
I don't want a tattoo because I'm terrified of needles and what my parents would say if I ever got one!. My parents think tattoos are tacky and cheap - I think the're just a way of decorating your skin so I think they're in the same line as using sun beds and dying your hair!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In my opinion, what you do with your body is up to you (I have a few piercings and one small tattoo), but i would say I often see people covered in piercings and head to toe in tattoos and i think to myself!.!.!.!.thats a bit much!.

I think most piecrings and tatoos are quite disgusting!. Why would anyone want to mutilate their bodies in this way!?
I can understand a small earring, but is it really necesary to have belly-button studs etc!?

I am turned off by them!. It's people behavior like peacocks, strutting around showing off!. This morning in a coffee shop this babe had half her back exposed, and their was a poem tattoed there!. Then yesterday I saw some guys with half their arms covered by blue and black!. These people need something to make them feel cool as a result of low self esteem and the need to conform!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, I like piercings and tattoos as a way of expressing yourself!. I like them on other people more than me!. I had my nose pierced, then took it out when everyone else got a nose piercing!. I don't have a tattoo because I think it might be too sore - but I like Henna tattoos!. The only thing that I don't like is when people get all these tattoos, then regret them as they get older! Why!? Its part of your life, how you were then, at that age!. It represents how you thought, and what you believed in!. Don't regret anything you do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of people with tattoos and piercings lack foresight and impulse-control!. Studies show that the majority of people with tattoos regret it after a short period of time!. Of course, you don't need a study to realize that the same tattoo that makes you look like a hard core hipster is going to look terrible in just a few years!. And for all the high-minded philosophy about selling out, when they decide to get a "real" job, they may run into trouble!.

That said, tattoos can be meaningful and tasteful!. But WHY would anyone get a trampstamp, a tattoo on their hands or necks, etc!.

For piercings, depending on the amount and location, you can see that the person often has a lot of pain and inner turmoil!. Because they don't know how to resolve it on the inside, they take measures to show people on the outside!. Just like people who cut themselves, it can get addicting!.
