That's what is wrong with our world!.!. people believing myths!. It's no different than any other 'fairy tale' -- there simply is no 'god' aka 'deity' - just as there is no 'santa claus' etc, etc!.!. ad nauseum!.!.

I must assume you mean "heal" in the physical sense!. I know a few people that were "healed" in such a way that I never understood where they got the strength to go on!. The physical limitations eventually became so unnoticeable in their day to day lives, that all I could see was a force they all seem to have!.
Did God do it for them!? I never asked them, but I suspect they all feel that a power source had touched them with the strength to carry on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

although i am not religious in any way I could only look at it in their perspective!. God believes in self-sacrifice and everything that happens, happens for a reason!. So somewhere along the line whether the amputee had to get his arm blew off in combat (self-sacrifice) or amputated through a disease they must follow some path!. Remember this is my guess of what a Christian person would say!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why does God allow people's limbs to get severed!? You can ask a hundred whys, why don't we fly!? Why do we die!? Why do we fall sick!? Why is there evil!? Why is the world designed in the way that it is!? Why do we feel pain!? Why doesn't God make me taller when I pray!? Why are there short people and tall people!?

But you can ask the same thing of governments, why is food not free!? why doesn't the government help everyone who needs expensive surgeries!?

It's pointless, because at the end of the day, there's a system that has been designed, and it follows rules rather than use exceptions!. Why are we asking why there are no exceptions!? We should be asking 'Why' when there is an exception!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

God created Man, He didn't create our capacity for evil!. We humans did that one!.!.!. and violence is what creates accidents that cause amputation to be necessary!. --- God had nothing to do with it!. 'Violence' could be as subtle as getting gangrene or irreversible frostbite, to something as obvious as getting hit by a car, incoming mortar or bomb!.

Well, I have a work mate who had his leg amputated when he was young, he is now 60, and it was some months after meeting him that I found out about that, he walks almost like anyone else with only a slight limp, so I think God has heald him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
