I couldn't say it better!. I think it's a pretty brilliant thought!.

Education IS an important thing that teaches you a lot, curriculum-wise, but more so about life, people, and who you are!. Having the opportunity for education is a wonderful thing!.

However, what you learn in biology or math or gym is not worth knowing!. While sometimes, you can learn important things, like from Philosophy class, for example but the most imporant lessons are life lessons outside of school!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it's at least partly true (I believe my parents, both schoolteachers, would agree with me!.) There really is no substitute for experience!.

Howeverm a "good" ecucation will include experiences as part of its teaching process!. Experimentation, analysis, observation, these are all things which can be taught and need to be learned!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would see that as meaning that we can only be taught what we are willing to learn!.
