Question: Do you believe that taking a photo can capture the soul/spirit of an individual!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I actually think you can!. Part of the spirit is our emotions, and I definitely think you can capture emotions in a picture!. As a free-lance wedding photographer, my lense has captured many emotion-filled moments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe that the soul or spirit of a person could not be captured through photos but the mere personal knowledge of a person is the most easiest way to capture one's soul!. Personal interaction is the best way to capture the soul of a person!. And i firmly believe that is the best option humans must do!.

Thanks for aksing!. Have a great day!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can only see how this person is feeling!. And it depends on who is looking at the picture!. An ignorant person will simply say that he cannot see anything!. An observant person can say that the person in the picture is feeling sad or happy or confused or something like that!. A portrait artwork captures the artist's OPINION of this particular person/subject!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I certainly stand to be corrected, but I believe that the camera in the hands of a good photographer captures exactly what is before it, just as an artist can paint soul/spirit into a canvass!. The problem is with the viewer!. They have to connect in order to see it!. Some can and some cannot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know if it actually captures the spirit of a person, but I do know that it captures the spirit of the moment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It can capture the individuals instant, but
