If I must choose, I'd say the former is preferred!.!.!.

However, secrets are such a burden to carry!.!.!.
They inhibit one from expressing and experiencing Wholeness!.!.!.

When people keep secrets from the world!.!.!.
You can be sure that they are keeping even more from themselves!.!.!.

Secret keeping is not an exercises I'd advise anyone to master!.!.!.
It fractures and shatters the Self!.!.!.

That would all depend on the secret and the consequences of it coming into the light or remaining in the dark!. If kept in the dark, would it be harmful to somebody either mentally or physically!? Or in reverse, would the same said harm be imposed if the secret was brought to light!? This is something that the bearer of the secret must decide!. With that in mind, if it's to dark to be totally uncovered, leave it alone!. Partially bringing a dark secret to light can be more dangerous than both keeping it secret or bringing it out!. The reason I say this is because a partially exposed secret will ultimately leave the rest of it to the imagination!. And I'm sure you know what can come of that!. I think everybody has his own reasons to convert one of their actions to be backdoor action and as long as the reasons to hid their action in the dark corner are exist, the secret should be remain as a secret and never see the day light till, at least, one of those reasons changed or one find somehow the courage to remove the secret from the dark place to see the day light!.

Thus it isn’t acceptable “ at least for me “ to search and guess the others secrets as long as they voluntarily choose this way to their actions!.

Edit: the problem is, we cover our curiosity under some BIG BIG words like truth, lie and sometimes behind some sweet sweet sentence!.
So we invent a secret and try to discover it!. :)))))Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it's a secret that was entrusted to you, it should remain a secret of course!. If it's something you're holding to yourself you might want to reveal a part of it to someone close, or you might want to let it remain a secret depending on what exactly it is and what the ramifications of telling someone would be (both to others and to yourself)!. Sometimes what you might think too dark to be uncovered might be understood (then again you might be right or even underestimate how dark it is)!. Sometimes you're able to live with the secret yourself, other times you're just dying to let someone else know!. Since I don't know what the secret is or how you'd let someone know part of it without figuring the rest out you also have to consider that by telling part you might open the door to having the rest figured out!. A secret is never truly a secret - at least one person knows about it!.

Whether to share it or not and bring it out into the light of day depends on whether the burden of that secret is heavier kept inside than outside!.

Do we want to offer someone the chance to share the load if by doing so they may simply drop it!?
