I don't think so!. In some cases, I think people say this in order to either come to terms with something bad that has happened or to excuse something bad or stupid they have done!. I do believe that God has a plan for us and a reason for the things that "happen"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, your quote is just a theory about how everything and everyone is connected!. It also depends on your take on that theory - what is the end reason of all those interrelated happenings!?

I like what one of the people above me said - that everything just happens, and wether or not its good or bad is relative!. In the short run that thing can be good, but it could be bad in the long run, and vice versa!.

If you are an optimist you'll be looking at all those happenings as leading someplace positive, and you'll be believing that humanity is always moving forward!. If you're a pesimist you'll be talking about things like "degrading morals," and you'll be thinking that each and every thing that we do is like throwing another piece of trash on top of the garbage can that's already overflowing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thank you for the compliment about the trivial question!.!.!.thought I'd grace you with my opinion on this one too!.!.lol!. I don't think everything happens for a reason!.!.!.however, I DO think that people tell themselves and others that in order to get through crappy times!. I will be the first to admit that I don't believe in fate, love at first sight (just lust), or things happening for a reason!. Surely SOME things happen for a reason but not most things!. Although I am cynical about this, I DO tell myself and try my hardest to believe this when something crappy happens to me :) Hey, whatever gets me through the next day with a smile on my face, I'm willing to bend my beliefs now and then, as long as it doesn't harm anyone :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

no, it means that whether it be good, bad, or indifferent, there is a reason; it may not be clear right away, but if you only try to find the good then you are deluding yourself!. S*&t happens, that's life, the realy question is how you deal with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They saying usually takes it for granted that the reason is to promote the greater good somehow!. Of course, the saying itself doesn't say that, and there could be evil intents behind things happening!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What is good and bad is relative!. You have the choice to see the good in every situation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depending ot the situation and person!. Coz everything can happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
