What are your thoughts on Stoics?

Question: What are your thoughts on Stoics!?

I really like the Stoic point of view!. Can someone point me in a good direction on where I should start my reading with eastern philosophy!. ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Confusious layed the ground work for much of the eastern philosophical tradition!.
From his work came Taoism and this along with budism lead to the Zen philosophical ideas!.
As far as similar to stoic traditions then hinduism is probably the best bet as many of the ideals are very comparable to stoic philosophies!.
