I stand well grounded in my faith!. My belief system doesn't waver!. There are times I increase in knowledge and understanding, but it only adds to, never takes away!. There are times when we are greatly shocked when great 'buildings' tumble!. But they don't shake my foundation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was at my friends church when I was younger and they were talking about the end of the world and all the things thats going to happen to nonChristians!. It made me not want to trust God and instead I became scared of him!. However, I read something that was like God telling me to stop, he loved me and not to worry!. Suddenly I knew God didn't want everyone to have some type of painful death and just leave him and I needed to listen and trust him rather than rely on what someone from a church was telling me!. Kind of funny how God and church made me feel such differing things!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was about 19 or 20 discussing the faith in God with my volleyball teammates on a trip home from a match!. I expressed that I didn't believe in a God that interferes with human life such as the cause of death, but instead as the creator that allows all possibilities for the human condition to be played out or expressed!. The seasoned veteran asked me if I ever prayed for God to help other people and I had to admit that I did!. I was usually known as the argumentative one, but I met my match that night!. I still believe in my version of God but it has been somewhat modified since that discussion as to not have any contradictions in my faith!.

Since then I have been into spirituality and the discovery of the presence of God through attainment of Enlightenment/Nirvana, which led me to the teachings of Dr!. David R!. Hawkins, who constantly shake the foundation which includes his own teachings!. This tells me i still have a ways to go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
