I'm a huge fan of Einstein's writings on religion and philosophy, and I think this quote is perfect!.
Buddhism is a very universal, accommodating religious path which has what it takes to stand the test of time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love it too!.!.!.!.I read that when I was young and lived my life by it, you see, Buddhism teaches you that there is no punishing god, and if there is you are the god of your punishment, your life and your deeds follow you through eternity and you shall be judged by them!.!.!.cause and effect, it is a natural law as well as a spiritual law!.!.!.!.good or evil!? we are all compelled to chose one or the other, there is no escape off the wheel of karma until we evolve to Buddha-hood!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. the twelve precepts are superior to the the ten commandments!.!.!.!.!.peace to all sentient beingsWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think Buddhism is evil, so I will stick to Taoism thanks very much!. I think we are two opposite ends of the spectrum and Einstein (who was a rotten scientist and human being) just wants to ease people into science-worshiping atheism!.

It is a good quote and Correct to an extent but it does not take into account the human factor, as some have a strong need and will teach this need to there children and others to be saved and protected!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

His Holiness the XIV Dalia Lama has said that science must not contradict religion and religion must not contradict science!. Both must harmonize as each represents the same explanation from a different vantage point!.

as a philosophy that which we call a Buddhism would be useful, big time, for it offers open door for any single scholar to make interesting conclusions!.!.!.as a religion it leads in a direction of limitations !.!.!.When infinite wisdom being compressed into dogma look for religious source of it!.!.!.Philosophies itself does not dictate or offering conclusions but asking only one main question "why not!?" The question what is Buddhism, religion or philosophy is not answered clearly yet!.!.!. If it is about Buddha then it is religion, for it removes a meanings of a teaching to secondary position!., signifying a Buddha himself as idol to be worshiped!.!.!. Same happen to Jesus and his simple teaching!.!.but still it was His philosophy which he lived himself!.!.!.as well as Gautama whom became Buddha, for Buddha it is not his last name but a meaning people do not understand yet!.As well as Christ!.!.!.not a last name of Jesus!.!.!.Meaning of terms Buddha,or Christ lead not to the carriers of those but above and beyond of what we are consider them to be!.!.!.!.!. Buddha new that, Christ new that, both attempted to explain it to people one way or another using parables!.!.We do not get it!.!.!.Only individual experience will do it!.!.!.!.Gathering which religion offering may bring only to certain points along the way!.!. Well in a way Einstein was right!.!.!.meaning of Buddhism as a philosophy leads to revelations which Einstein himself was experiencing!.!.!.Buddhism as a philosophy does not emphasised a human factor!.!.so in attempt being a religion, Buddism reflecting that what is known as human factor!.!.!.Jesus with his teaching embraced and directed a meaning of being a human!.!.!.in very simple terms!.!.!.
