For me, there is no one reality as reality is interpreted!. To view true reality, one must turn off one's own processor and at our current stage of development, that is impossible!. Even as babies when we first learn about the world, everything we see or do is subject to our own personal interpretation of our environment!.

The sunset!.!.
When someone tells you that the sunset is orange, and another red, believe neither, for they are not your truth!.
The one truth is that the sunset evokes such impressions of color!.

The shirt!.!.!.
Our eyes are easily fooled!. Colors can be affected by a person's mood, preference, and eye condition!.
The one truth is that each person believes that what they saw is reality!. Whether the shirt is blue or white is inconsequential!. The perceived reality results in two people having different interpretations of what they saw of the same thing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The reality is that all we have to go on is our perception(s)!. And our perceptions are very often incorrect!. (Magicians and Theologists rely heavily on that fact to make a living)!.
But if a large number of people observe (and record their observations) under controlled conditions, the perception (we hope) becomes a bit closer to the reality!. That's one of the principles of 'Scientific' observation!.

I suppose it depends how you define "true"!. If I was wearing red tinted shades than that sunset may appear red, so it would be true that I'm seeing a red sunset even though you are seeing an orange one!. In matters of perception everything is subjective, to a colourblind person there are only 3 colours in a rainbow!. We now know there are 6 but for hundreds of years people were sure they could see 7 (7 is a much holier number and nobody had the guts to state the obvious fact that indigo and violet are actually just purple)
Reality can never be directly observed, it's something you build a virtual model of using probability!. The shirt is simply 50% white and 50% blue until more evidence comes in!. The number of colours in a rainbow is some probability function of the type of light, the number of colour receptors in the eye of the viewer, and what the viewer regards as distinct colours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
