Your question made me laugh -
Like a government warning -

"Self improvement after 60 may damage your Mental health!"

So few people get on the path of self improvement but once bitten by the bug just go on and on because it is so interesting -I am 60 and have just come back from a two week intensive with a friend - we have been at it together for 21 years since meeting up n a counselling course and are still blowing our minds with discovering new stuff about ourselves!. I find it my most interesting pastime, delving around in our heads and then putting the learning into practise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Of course YES! Of course there is an age limit for self-improvement if you did mean health improvement of someone; of course there is an age limit if you did mean to improve ones strength lifting stones etc; of course there is an age limit to improve a certain skill!. Only there are NO LIMITATIONS of AGE for improving your knowledge!. I must tell the fact of the great scholar, Socrates, who was to die within three days!. That was the death punishment by the King! All of a sudden, Socrates heard a beautiful tune played by some unknown flute-player!. He requested the prison-keeper to bring that musician!. Why!? Because he wanted to learn how to play that tune!. The prison-keeper said, "What hell would benefit that to you!? You're supposed to drink poison day after tomorrow!"
Socrates smiled,"Right you are! But before death, I want to learn playing that tune!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not atl all!. I′ll tell you!. I′m 29 and been working in self improvement since 17!. I always see people and know there′s no age limit for self improvement!.
There′s one thing!. Because self-improvement implies a variety of things and let′s be honest!. Self improvement for someone means to improve the quality of their familiy!. then to the other is to rise into a better economical position!. Then it can be to have a new great car!. It can be to rise your believes into a new place so you can have a new sight on life!. All this are valid and aplicable circmunstances to self-improvement!. When someone is studying or making a carreer it can be said that he is self improving himself!.

There is one thing I found, and is that if you are so agy!. For example 60 and want to make a carreer maybe this cannot be very useful to you, because you are not going to be able to stablish yourself in the market and be hired by a company as you could if you were 25 or 30!. I mean, you can study for your pleasure and maybe you can run your own business, but you′ll have your limitations within the age!.
But to uplift your conciousness into new levels i think there is not an specific age!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Early years of life are spent in innocence!. Then comes the time when we think we are improving but most begin to slide downwards!. Then we open our eyes to see that age is no longer on our side and begin to panic!. We start to self-improve/mend our ways but our health at that point needs more attention/improvement!.

Hence, it goes to prove that there is NO AGE LIMIT for self-improvement (but whether we really improve or attain our targets is still debatable!)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, i dont think there is,, because at any age you can learn new things, meet new people who may have different interests to you and maybe you would want to learn from their experiences to improve not only your knowledge but also your social life and self confidence!. Life can teach us many things when we least expect it, no matter what your age!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As I get older I'm sure that there isn't, and never should anyone be allowed to impose the theory that there is!. I deliberately left a job of 21 years (after a long and sensible deliberation as to the practicality) and it became one of the most freeing opportunities to discover myself after a nasty burn out!. The question may be more to do with courage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Young elders and mature adolescents, scientifically man attains his optimum emotional and intellectual maturity circa the ages of 25 and twenty eight!.

Programming or cramming new data into the brain bank is not actually growing intellectually!. Each person has a specified capacity for learning, and depending upon this capability, some are naturally erudite, whilst others spend vast amounts of time reading and studying!.

It becomes a contentious topic only when inadequately explained!. Man lives, reads, observes, but ultimately his understanding attained during his mid to late twenties is his capacity fulfilled, regardless of whether he continues to gain new qualifications or accomplishments!.

The emphasis being on capability and capacity and realising ones physical intellectual growth, than the onus upon mans ability to gain further academic or empirical knowledge!.

I waffle today, need walk !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nope,

Anyone between the ages of 8 and 120 with a library card and inquiring mind has all the tools the need to get started!. And one can locate or form a special interest group for any subject under the sun on Meetup!.com and Craigslist!.

The only age limit to self-improvement is death!.

not at all!. you see people all the time take up new hobbies, sports, classes, etc in their 70s, 80s, 90s, etc!. i think this is one of the things that contribute to their longevity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
