And if someone was handing you something, you slap their hand away!. You had thoughts of doing that!? But usually I'm really angry when I think about that!. lol But I never really think about whether the person is nice or not!. If I really did act on my thoughts, I would probably get in a lot of trouble!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I do have those thoughts - I often feel frustrated with nice people because it feels like they're just locked into this mode which isn't necessarily empathic or altruistic !.!.!. just polite and sweet and sometimes there is this desire to disrupt that in the hope that something else will come out!. As for the handing over of things - if it's someone helping me pick up stuff I've dropped then I never would because no one ever helps me like that!. I'd be appreciative!. If it's someone trying to force a pamphlet onto me (especially the socialists or the bible bashers at uni) then I wouldn't really regret it, though I've never thought of doing it!. I've ended up hurting nice people's feelings before, in other ways than pushing, and it's never satisfactory because more often than not they're just hurt and there's never that change that I'd subconsciously hoped for!. So I'd just end up feeling really bad about it if I pushed them, they'd feel really hurt and bewildered and it would be useless!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Not really, nice people are such a rarity why would I want to drag them down!? Why would I want to spread misery!? After someone offers me something and I keep declining several times, then if they then hand it to me I feel like slapping their hand away, yes!. Since a person acting nice probably wouldn't expect such a reaction you might seriously hurt them and at the very least they will probably be darned upset!. If they're insanely nice though they might even ask what they did to upset you and even apologize to you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I have!. They always seem so happy and nice!.
