I guess everything in life is relative, including how we all look at life!. Perhaps some things become serious because we have too many expectations regarding them!.

This can tend to force us into regretting the past if these expectations have not been met or living in the future because we always expect things to get better!.

By all means learn from the past and plan for the future but don't let these prevent you from living each moment!.
