No, because awareness -- consciousness -- is the flowing of impressions into your mind!. If there would be no flow of time there would be no such flowing of impressions!.

also, stand still in relation to what!? Consider this: suppose time would come to a standstill at a certain point!. Your mind would then also stand still, so you would not be aware of the standstill!. Now suppose that time would begin to move again!. You would not be aware of this either, as your mind would also only then begin to move again, with the same acceleration as all the rest!.

How much time was there between the point that time came to a standstill and the point (in time!) at which it began to move again!? None, of course, as time itself was standing still all the "time"!.

Conclusion: time neither stands still nor does it "flow", because there is nothing in which it may stand still or flow!. It is a flowing in nothingness that as a whole stands still in nothingness!. It's unimaginable, as one cannot imagine nothingness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If time stood still, we would cease to breath!. It takes anywhere from 3 to 6 seconds per breath!. Without the seconds ticking down, how could we breath!.

No cause time is not a visible thing, like a clock ticking!. The ony way to tell time is past present and future!. As the good scientist Hawkings said!. From chaos to order and vise a versa , can time be preceived!. You break a glass that was whole just a second ago, but it won't get back to that whole state again, cause it has already come and gone!. Therefore a state between the two events, the whole glass and the broken one, you give the name "time"!. Time before and time after!. Someone mentioned that time slows down as you approach luminal velocity!. But that's only apparent when you compare your clock with someone elses clock who was not in your inertial reference frame!.

Now consider a photon!. Since it travels at lightspeed, 'time', as such, does not exist for it and a photon 'sees' all of space and time (past, present, and future) as a single point!.
