What are the positives and negatives of this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: do not see many positives coming from cultures losing their identities!.!.!.!.western culture is great and technical advancement is great!. however, we must remind people that it is wrong to forget where they came from!.!.!.!.!.also, we must remember that western culthere are all fatiths and ture does not dictate that people must forget who they are!.!.!.!.this is a misconsepttion brought about by hasty generalizations and media manipulation!.!.!.!.I live in NYC and have traveled many places and absolutely love and appreciate the cultures of the world!. here in the USA it is wonderful to see people from many cultures living together in peace!.!.!.sometimes we forget this!.!.!.!.!.sometimes i think how people in the middle east (muslims and jews) fight, yet here in nyc they all get along!.!.!.!.don't get me wrong we are not a utopia but i find it interesting!.!.!.I have met many people from many places and they are people just like me!.!.!.!.when you put a personaltiy and face to a culture you realize this!.!.!.!.to me people always think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence!.!.!.!.!.yet forget that everyone has the seeds to grow the most beautiful grass!.!.!.!.!.!.it does concern me that many people these days do not try to change things they do not like!.!.!.almost as if it is easier to be negative !.!.!.positivity takes no more energy than negativity!.!.!.!.!.and we forget GOD gave us free wil, we have the choice!.!.!.to pass judgement without knowing is crazy!.!.!.!.!.!.and to believe information without experiencing it first hand is bad!.!.!.!.!.oh yeah, no one tells people to gorge themselves on Mcdonalds!.!.!.!.!.!.nothing is good in exessWww@QuestionHome@Com Occidentalism as a de-culturalisation of the world is dependent upon the intention and motivating factors behind the orchestration of the same!. Creating a one Globe, one world, unified people of a one God is all good and noble!. Alas it is widely felt the intentions of the engineers are less than honourable given the social state of unrest, disillusionment and moral decay in their own lands!.
