If Buddha is right and we are living in an illusion, what makes Buddha NOT an illusion!? Whether the rules are real or a game, we still have to play!. Lucid dreaming and visualization are all well and good, but if their OBJECT is an illusion then they are parlor tricks, nothing more!.

I believe that changing myself (also an illusion) to suit circumstances is better magic than changing circumstances to met my "delusion of self!."

The butterfly dream was Chuang Tse, a chinese scholar!. He said "I woke up and didn't know if I was mandarin dreaming I was a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming I was a mandarin!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

Confucius I believe was the one who said this!.

It is my belief or thoughts that we are all dreaming the experience that we are in!. That we are dreaming in such a way that we even create the world about us to fit into that dream!. Though we are a single dreamer dreaming a dream that is created though our own thoughts, the thoughts that we think and project are also picked up by other dreamers and as a whole we then become caught in a dream of the collective whole!. If only a few of us would awaken to the reality of our existence, then the whole would too, and that which we dream as sun, stars, earth, rain, man, etc, would cease to be, and a new reality would take its place!.

Deep isn't it!. We just don't want to awaken, but we will, and when we do, we will find what it is we were looking for on this plain of existence and move on to another!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've thought about this a lot!. I recommend you watch the movie Waking Life!. It can really open your mind up to dreams and reality but I'd say, the bottom line is, no one really knows anything for certain!. We could all possibly be butterflies!. Lucid dreaming may be about self-control along with imagination!. There are so many questions to pinpoint and analyze!. It's difficult!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If he was a butterfly, he wouldn't be aware enough to think about any of this!.

I don't really wonder about this!. I think it's pretty real!. I dunno what kind of reality it is, but it seems more real than dreams to me!.!.!. or at least related!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
