What is true happiness!? It is what makes you truly happy right!?
And everybody is different!. We all have our different parameters of joy and sadness!. A starving child in a third world country derives true happiness from stale bread!. Could that make you happy!?
It's interesting to note that we are in no position to determine who deserves what!. It's also funny to note that someone up here said pedophiles could actually derive true happiness from what they do and I'm saying (speaking for myself) that I am in no position to judge anyone's right to happiness!.
I would also like to add that true happiness is not a constant fixed notion!. No one can be in a state of perpetual bliss!.
Sometimes happiness comes to you and sometimes you have to go out and get it!.
Whether we deserve it or not is not something any one can decide!. But one thing is for sure!. Everyone has felt it at some point in their lives or the other!.

i believe that everyone deserves true happiness but it is very hard to achieve in the type of environment that we live in!. for example, say you know a waiter who works at a restaurant, that waiter wants a better job to have a better life, but if theres no waiters then how will the restaurant function!? there has to be someone to do a certain job but the person doing the job is not happy but without that person doing the job than how will others achieve happiness!? so you see its a cycle!. so in the end its how you define happyness!. so think they will be happy if they are rich, others happyness means owning the new video game, being with family members!. etc!. happyness in this day and age has very different meaningsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yes to a point,but happiness is a fleeting state ,it is not static, or holding!. You can be happy for an evening and then in the morning face a reality that is far from being happy!.
One should all ways think in terms of contentment, that is lasting, because one can find some contentment in any circumstance that they find themselves in, IF they look for it!.
You can live a whole life of contentment NOT a whole life being continually happy!. There is always going to be sadness around!.
