An impostor is someone who pretends to be someone else!.!.!. as for it pertaining to writing, well NO KIDDING! It's called a pen name!. I mean, how many people here know that Frankenstein was really written by a woman!? or that George Orwell was a pen name for a woman as well!? Back when these women wrote, they choose male names because it was literally FORBIDDEN for women to write anything serious!.

There are even MEN who use female pen names because they write romance novels!. And by its very nature, the word NOVEL means Fiction!. Anything non-fiction is either a biography, a text book, or something that's true to fact!.

So I SAY there are no impostors within the written world -- and no, I don't include journalists who commit fraud, or people who plagiarize work on purpose!.!.!. I'm talking about honest, hard working writers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

!.!.!.the word "imposture" is so self contained that the mere mention of the word suggests wrong doing!.!.!.so, if a person was an imposture and spoke for another , then it, more than likely, is for a self indulgent purpose!.!.!.on the other hand, however, there are times when speaking for another is worthy and necessary!.!.!.

There are much bigger impostures than speaking in the name of another!. I'm an attorney -a big part of what earns an attorney respect is the ability to speak in the name of another!.
